Meet Your Crew

Bill joined Baxter Investment Management in 1989 after having earned a B.A. in economics and political science from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. He brings experience as a Research Analyst to Baxter from his two years at Glickenhaus & Co. As the Chief Portfolio Manager, Bill is responsible for constructing and continuously managing all client portfolios and contributing to Baxter’s research efforts, particularly in the fixed-income sector. Bill is intimately involved in the development and implementation of the firm’s overall investment strategy.

Bill is an active sailor and currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut with his wonderful family.

As a Saint Mary’s College alumnus, John's prior business experience includes having served as a Financial Advisor at the UBS PaineWebber where he worked in the Wall Street Branch for over three years. John is a Board Member of the SoundWaters charitable organization, where he works as part of its Development Committee. John is also a member of both the Greenwich and Cutchogue Chambers of Commerce.

John is a life-long resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, and enjoys sailing competitively in his free time.

Brad has been working in the securities and investment field since 1986 after earning a B.A. from Princeton University. At Baxter Investment Management, his primary responsibilities include conducting and analyzing equity research. He also assists in the overall development and implementation of the firm’s investment strategy.

Before joining Baxter Investment Management, Brad served as the Director of Research at Haebler Capital. He also previously held positions at Northcote Partners and Steinberg Asset Management, where he served as a portfolio manager.

 William J. Baxter IV joined Baxter in January 2020.  Prior to joining Baxter he was a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, which he joined in 2017. William's focus is to put the client's needs first, recommending strategies encompassing their risk tolerance, liquidity needs, time horizon, and personal and financial goals.

William graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Economics in 2017 and is an avid ice hockey player and sailor.

As a Rice University graduate, Damon earned a B.A. degree (summa cum laude) in chemical physics and a Master of Computer Science. He has held positions of firm-wide responsibility in investment management (research, trading, etc.) and operations (technology, compliance, etc.) at both traditional and alternative investment managers including The Millburn Corporation, Xplor Capital Management and Raylor Capital Management Group.

As Baxter Investment Management's Director of Operations, Damon applies his extensive knowledge and over 30 years of industry experience to both the investment and operational aspects of the firm.

Damon joined Baxter in 2018 and currently resides with his family in Weston, Connecticut.

Jamie attended Brooklyn College and is responsible for managing Baxter’s technology, security and operations systems. His prior business experience, which began in 1979, includes database design, computer consulting and service as Chief Technology Officer for a joint broker-dealer/investment advisor firm.

Jamie currently resides in New York City.

Liza earned her B.A. degree from William Smith College of the Hobart & William Smith Colleges and has been with Baxter Investment Management since 1984. Her primary responsibilities are account reconciliation, billing and quarterly reporting as well as providing other administrative functions. 

Liza lives in Greenwich and enjoys golf, tennis and gardening.
